I usually only post one sneak peek, but with two kids this gorgeous, how could I not post two? Check out Mr. F’s eyes….aren’t they amazing?! And I didn’t even do anything special to them in post processing. They just look like this! Crazy beautiful.
And look at Miss S’s hair and that soulful look….she’s destined to be a supermodel.
This session was particularly special to me because I’ve known this sweetie’s mama since we were 3 years old! It all comes full circle eventually, I guess. =)
Little M was such a pleasure to photograph as she’s just the happiest baby! She’s perfectly chubby and has such a sweet personality. There was only the tiniest bit of fussing at the VERY end of the session, but we’d pretty much gotten everything we’d needed by that time anyway. For a six month old to put up with being moved around and changed and fussed over as much as she was, I was pleased by how well she did. She truly seems to be the most easy going baby!

Hello blog world! I have several photo shares coming up this week and next! The first is the extended version of the Miss Gigglepants session that I shared in my last post. We had a great time and I think it showed in the pictures. That said, I LOVE the serious faces she gave me, too. She has such an old soul and I think that really comes through.
Okay, less talking, more pictures! I think this first is one of my all-time favorites.
We’ve had a few evenings of hard rain lately, so Eliza and I took advantage of the many puddles to photograph one of her favorite activities….jumping in puddles! She had a great time and I have “fun” trying to hold onto an umbrella and my camera at the same time!
I love the pictures that we got. Not because they’re painstakingly composed or technically perfect captures. But because they’re REAL. They’re an honest slice of our life right now. I will look back on these 10, 20, 30 years from now and will remember when Eliza was this small and when her idea of amazing parenting was my allowing her to jump in puddles until her dress was (in her terms) “squelching wet”.
THIS is exactly why I’m a photographer and why I love doing what I do. =)
