Hey there and welcome to my new blogsite (a blog and website all in one)! My name is Leila Wylie and I’m a new photographer serving just about all of Tidewater/Hampton Roads – including Portsmouth, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Newport News and Hampton! This website is a work in progress; I hope to have everything totally up and running by early fall. Though I have a particular interest in high school seniors, boudoir and engagement sessions, I also love photographing family, children and babies!
My family and I have lived in Portsmouth for three years. I grew up in Suffolk (go LHS!) and moved to Richmond after high school, where my husband and I met, married and had our first child. My husband, Stephen, and I have been married for 6 years. We have one 5-year-old biological daughter and are in the process of adopting a 3-year-old son from Ethiopia. We’re hoping against hope to be able to travel to bring him home in the late summer or early fall, though will be making one trip this summer to Ethiopia to appear in court and meet our little guy!
