Halloween was a crazy busy day for me this year! First, my in-laws were in town and we’d had a late night on Saturday going to Fright Night at the zoo and then to Rajput for dinner. Indian! Yum! Eliza had even had a late night on Friday night, so two late nights in a row meant for a tired little lade come Sunday morning. We had to get Eliza dressed in her costume for church as all of the kids dress up for Halloween at UCN. After church, we went to Moe’s for lunch, as we always do. Then it was home for me and to a fall carnival for Eliza and Stephen. I had to get back so that I could get ready for my much anticipated shoot with the Rood-Sebastian family!
I’m a big fan of the Rood-Sebastian clan. Steve and I taught the eldest boys, [B] and [Z], for a class at church. [J], the youngest, is just the sweetest kid you’ve ever met. Always has a great smile and a nice word. It was my first time having the pleasure of meeting the lone young lady of the clan, [K]. I can only offer hugs for having three brothers to deal with. =) And I can’t say enough about Carol and Karol (yes, you read that right). Someone needs to host Bunco again soon so that I can finally hang out with them again! They are some seriously busy ladies!
We had a great time walking around Olde Towne and discovering a few new nooks and crannies I’d not yet discovered. Of course, the boys were ready to call it a day after the first 5-6 shots, but they persevered on like troopers. =) Threats of posting goofy pictures on Facebook and tagging all of their friends worked pretty well, but it was the lure of Starbucks that was the REAL winner.
